18 Days til Christmas! What’s going on in your neck of the woods? We’re busy ordering things online for our Christmas celebration, and that includes Christmas crackers.
Did you think I was crazy for ordering crackers online? I know, you can buy just about any gourmet foodstuff online these days, but those aren’t the crackers I’m talking about.
Because we are having British Christmas and we are a musical family, I ordered Concerto Christmas Crackers for our Christmas celebration. These crackers come complete with tuned whistles and music so that we can actually play a tune at our Christmas table.
Family togetherness, music, and silly crowns to wear on Christmas Day. What more could you and your family want?

You may have noticed that I have added Amazon’s Affiliate widget to my site; after a court case that Amazon won, Illinois residents are allowed to participate in Amazon Affiliates again. I encourage you to read this post by Robin Dance, which articulates beautifully why I ask you to support my work and click into Amazon.com using the embedded hyperlinks and my Amazon Affiliate widget in the sidebar.
Got my bags, got my reservations,
Spent each dime I could afford.
Like a child in wild anticipation,
I long to hear that, “All aboard!”
Music and lyrics by Bud Green, Les Brown and Ben Homer (1944)
I love Christmas crackers! I think guests get a real kick out of them! The style you chose rocks!!!
I never heard of crackers that can play a tune. I may have to look into that for my musical family – next year!
