The Eiffel Tower is lit up at night on the hour and twinkles merrily for about five minutes. It’s worth the wait.

Lucky you to get to see this! I really wanted to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night when we were in Paris last June. But it didn’t get dark until 10:30P.M., and the kids definitely needed to be in bed before then if we wanted to sightsee the next day.
We were lucky to see this last August!! We framed our photo of the tower sparkling.

Beautiful photo! We loved seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night. I think it’s even more beautiful when it twinkles. Seeing it lit up was one of the highlights of our trip.
The Eiffel Tower at night is absolutely my favorite landmark! Its just so magical.
The Eiffel Tower is huge on my list and I just never thought about seeing it at night. That is amaziing! I’ve always heard lots of negative comments about the long line wait, etc for a not so spectacular view once you get up the elevator. Curious? 🙂
