Back in April, I went on a scouting trip to Crate and Barrel to see what was new for summer. This adorable pattern popped out at me.
Designed by artist Jane Dixon, the Marin Birds pattern complements the plain dishes in the Marin white dinnerware pattern. Marin also comes in orange (shown), light blue, light green, and yellow.
I thought this quirky pattern was perfect in a modern home while still working very well with vintage linens.
The Marin Birds pattern is available on the Crate and Barrel web site, but it’s not on sale yet at the time of this writing. Too bad.
Now, this one’s for the birds (of a feather, myself included)!!!
So glad to see your comment! I spent hours this morning with my hosting company trying to figure out why I wasn’t getting email notification of comments. Apparently we fixed it… YAY!
Cute pattern Jennie. They do look a bit quirky but then again I like quirky, they would look great in a tablescape. The plate with the brown and orange bird setting on the orange bowl is my favorite.
Thanks for commenting, Candy. They are cute, aren’t they?
How fun! I love these quirky birds! The colors are beautiful, too. 🙂
Quirky and fun! The design reminds me of the opening credits of “The Partridge Family” television show! 🙂
Quirky but cute! Very, very cute! Me wanty :).
