Inspiration: Gold, Green and White Tablescape

I love to visit stores with beautiful tablescapes for inspiration. This spring, Macy’s sponsored a flower show at many of its locations and along with the amazing floral displays, there also were beautiful tablescapes. I was a bad girl and didn’t source out any of these items in the photos, but they speak for themselves. Gorgeous!

  1. Thank you for sharing your visit to Macy’s. It is such a treat when people post pictures from stores/displays that most of us will not have the opportunity to see. You’re right – the tablescape is gorgeous – one of those that make a crazy dish lover’s heart beat fast! And that napkin – I would love to have a set of those. (I figure the dishes and glassware are out of my price range……but one can dream). I hope you keep “visiting” more displays.

    • My poor husband gets very nervous when I shop for inspiration. He has been a party to my succumbing to temptation too many times, so he knows that shopping for ideas may actually turn into real shopping. 🙂

  2. Beautiful, Jennie. I appreciate you sharing this tablescape. Those napkins are eye-catchers! I know we’d never have a “shrub hedge” bench in our homes, but maybe outside – unless it’s too prickly. The display is very elegant, and the hedge seating gives it all a little taste of dressy/casual garden.

  3. Wow, I guess if any of the brilliant blogging tablescapers, had free reign to pick and choose from Macy’s and a carpenter to help build, we would see some incredible tablescapes. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Oh my, This is so classy. Macy’s has some beautiful china and crystal. I have not been there for a display like this. I do have a $75.00 gift card from my son at Christmas. I have only been to the mall once so far this year. I tryed to go on line to shop, but the Macy’s site is so slow, I get frustrated trying to shop there on line. Here nor there, this certainly is a lovely tablescape.

    • While we here in Chicagoland are not fans of turning our beloved Marshall Fields into a Macy’s, they do continue to have a nice china department. They also have great sales — you should get on their mailing list to get your sale notices and coupons!
